Introducing the latest additions from the Ruka Wet
Products innovation lab: a freshly sourced batch of hair
care essentials for hair that needs better-than-basic.
Developed to streamline the (often elaborate) steps of those blessed with
curls, ringlets or coils, the three-piece addition features vegan, cruelty-free
and nature-fuelled formulas that celebrate the founder’s native oils and
extracts, with a strong focus on functionality.
The gel that Does-it-all: conditions, moisturises, protects and gently holds.
Starting with the launch of the Do-it-all gel, Ruka have formulated a soft to touch gel with a soft hold to match. It contains natural oils to gently manipulate the hair into position and soften locks with aloe vera extract – which helps to cherish each coil without weighing hair down.
Tip – use whilst hair is slightly wet for more control over your preferred style or to define curls in a wash and go style.
What’s in it?
Aloe vera provides a high level of hydration to the hair whilst being soothing and conditioning. Glycerin which draws the moisture
and seals it within the hair strands.
The full Vol. 1 collection contains Mongongo oil which has been carefully sourced from Western Zambia and harvested by women
who use this income to support themselves and their families.
This oil is known for being rich in Vitamin E (which has been shown to increase circulation in the scalp, promoting hair growth) &
Omega 6 (which improves the hair density), whilst also creating a protective film on hair fibre.
If you’d like extra hold, after applying the gel you can give it a hard seal with a freeze spray - a favourite of ours is the Got2Be freeze
spray.
You can expect a little bit of sticky goodness. This is because we simply refuse to compromise between hold and moisture. Get you
a gel that can do both.
